New Partner: Pear Tree Greetings

Jason and I were a long distance couple back in the day before the internets, so we sent lots and lots of letters and cards. In fact, I was a letter/card lady for a long time, in that I sent letters to all of my camp friends and people I met at various youth events and all of that. Since email and Facebook and Twitter and blogs have taken hold, I've been much less likely to mail letters. And I've got to say, I miss that.

We're coming up on the holidays and that means Christmas cards. I haven't sent them in the past few years and that is ridiculously sucky. I used to really enjoy doing that and for whatever reason, I've completely let that go. I've been embarrassed because mostly I've just totally lost everyone's addresses, but I'm not going to let embarrassment stop me this year. Expect a Facebook message before too long requesting your address. Because I know that even though it's not very green and it's not super personal, getting something in the mail that isn't a bill or an ad can be really pleasant.

In the spirit of that, I wanted to introduce you to one of my new partners, Pear Tree Greetings! This is a really fantastic company, and I'm very excited to be working with them. It's so much fun to get a card in the mail, whether it's to celebrate a holiday, a birthday, a new baby, or just a hello and Pear Tree offers some really beautiful photo cards. And at really reasonable prices -- which, if you're like me, is a pretty major consideration! (And in response to my "it's not very green" comment, they do offer a line of recycled cards!)

And right now, they are also running an Operation Gratitude program, where they are sending cards to 75,000 men and women who are serving away from their families right now. If you're a teacher or know a teacher, please check out that link and sign up! You'll get a packet of 30 cards at no cost for you to give to your class to have them fill out for service men and women. I absolutely love that!

And if that weren't enough, Pear Tree also has a line of 6 Christmas cards where a purchase will donate 100% of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge. I love the opportunity to partner with a business that cares not only about bringing people together with a card, but that gives back to such a fantastic cause.

To introduce you to this fantastic business, I want to invite you to shop the Pear Tree Promo Code page for the latest discounts and promotions on everything from Christmas Cards, Thanksgiving Invitations, baby announcements and even a code valid on ANY purchase! Happy shopping!

And, to help one lucky reader with their holiday card shopping, Pear Tree is offering a $30 Gift Code to anything in the store! This is open to residents of the US.
