Review & Giveaway: Purex Complete Crystals Softener

I'm one of those rare people who doesn't mind doing laundry. Despite the fact that it's never, ever done (at least until we adopt the nudist lifestyle, and on a 30 degree day like today, that doesn't seem likely any time soon!), there's just something calming to me about sorting and folding warm laundry. Yes, even socks.

For most of my life, I've been a pretty hard-core Tide user. But a few months ago, I bought some Purex laundry sheets and I've been a fan ever since. They are crazy easy to use, and that is always a plus in my mind.

So when I was presented the opportunity to become a Purex Insider, I was all over that. And the first thing that I had the opportunity to review were the Purex Complete Crystals Softeners.
Honestly, I don't use fabric softeners very often because I don't like paying attention to my laundry to go add softener to the cycle. Well, the Purex Crystals go in at the beginning of the cycle, rather than in the middle. So I just dump those beauties in at the beginning and they do their thing. I absolutely love this. I like to use softener, but you know, I like things to be easy. Purex provides the opportunity for both.

I also love that this product is 92% natural. The unique crystal form works differently than traditional oil-based softeners, because it doesn’t coat fabrics with oily residue and completely dissolves infusing fibers with long-lasting fragrance.  Unlike other softeners, Purex Complete Crystals are safe for all laundry and will not harm, wear down or discolor your fabrics. Anything that prolongs the life of my clothes is another major plus.

The product is available in three scents: Fresh Spring Waters, Lavender Blossom & Tropical Splash. I got to sample the first scent and look forward to trying the others. I know that the Fresh Spring Waters smells really great! I didn't find the scent to be overpowering, but it was definitely there and quite nice.

I would absolutely recommend this product without question. It's easy to use, it prolongs the life of your clothes and it smells nice. Those are good things!
